two return tickets to Melbourne, in October. Question is, what do I do when I get there?
Suggestions, anyone?

Hi Lupinbunny, Just thought this might interest you. Yesterday I started a Google Map of sewing related shops in Aust & NZ. I added 50 WA shops. Link is here http://maps.google.com.au/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=109497120130355120906.0004504d27824dd5e149e&t=h&z=5 I've asked members on PR to help placemark stores in their cities. As yet there are no locations placemarked in Melbourne but hopefully we'll get some up soon.
oh i love melbourne! i lived there for a year and a half.
you should eat sushi at a sushisushi (it's the best sushi ever trust me), and go to st kilda and eat a burger or 3 at grill'd (best burgers). hmm what other things that aren't food related can i think of..... i'll get back to you ;-)
Wool baa, of course!!! a girl called Jenn works there and she is awesome and you will love her.
Also, Madam Brussels would be right up your street. Like a 1950s golf club, complete with astro turf and lackeys in plus-fours bringing you lovely drinks on silver trays while you lounge around on deck chairs... inside. Or, outside if it's warm enough.
