Now, in an ideal world I'd be able to make this in time (view D, with the flowing cummerbund of course).
But that pattern isn't even available in Australia yet. And said ball is next Friday. I need to get creative quickly. And given I'll have no time to search for nice fabric, I think I'm going to have to get upclose and personal with... satin. That most unforgiving and unflattering of fabrics.

I hope you find some nice satin fabric and make it on time. I think you'll be able to pull it off though... you look nice and slim so don't worry! :)

oh I love that pattern too! It's so annoying it isn't here yet.. there's another pattern I like by vogue http://www.voguepatterns.com/item/V2970.htm?tab=designer_sportswear_br_suits_coats_jackets&page=1 and of course spotlight don't have it yet.. good luck with your creation, it'll be gorgeous I'm sure :)
